I don't know how many of you out there were actually waiting for me to write this post. But that doesn't matter. Some famous author once quoth, "It is the tale, not he who tells it."

I'm Back!

Yes, my dearies! I'm back... finally! :D And for all those who were wondering, yes. I had an amazing time in Kerala. But right now, I'm as tired as tired can get! So, for now, be appeased with the change in the post title's font and have a happy happy time contemplating what other changes I shall be bringing forth in the future. Oh, and a post on the detailed observance of yours truly on the land of the Gods!

I'm going to Kerala.... after an eon!!!

Well, after a gap of a decade, I'll be heading to Kerala once more this year! It's been so long! They have a really famous festival of sorts happening during the first week of April and apparantly, the last time I went there for that was when I was a year old. So, rest assured, I can't remember a thing. But my entire family has been abrading me forever about how much I've been missing the action. The long line of decorated elephants, the splendid fireworks that could put New Year's celebrations at Times Square to shame, the music on the streets that would get a dying man dancing, the food!

But fey fate! Like in any fairytale, there's an evil warlord in this one as well. And as I turn to my table, I flinch a little at the sight of the offending abomination that had to manifest itself just about now!! How am I supposed to go to a festival of such seminal proportions with no means to capture the scenery around me?! *sigh* My poor camera is well on its way to the underworld, thanks to a broken lens arrangement. So, all of you will have to make do with the pictures I paint with words to know how it was. Yes, it's a sad sad world. But not that we can do anything about it now, ne?

I am so going to get a Nikon DSLR camera as soon as I have sufficient funds! *cough* whenever that is! 

STPIP 2009... a thing of the past!

Hello there! The Summer training program in Physics is finally over... and well, I'm a little sad seeing all those people leave back for their hometowns. We converged as strangers, wondering how we were ever going to get to know each other and study together for what little time we had. But now, we feel like we were all from one class... and so we were, at least for a while.

I hope each and everyone of those who were part of the STPIP 2009 program have the most marvelous future ahead!

I'm leaving for Kerala in a week and I can hardly wait to start! We'll be temple hopping for most of the trip and hope I can get some really nice shots while we're at it! Ah... now I need to go and pack my stuff! >__<#
