I love making lists... do you?

I've just realized.... I love making lists. Lists of things to do, of dreams to achieve, of groceries to shop... the list is endless! :D

I guess I love the charm of noting things down on paper and when one has the world's cutest notepad at one's disposal, it cannot be helped. It's almost therapeutic! And with an impending Shopping trip on its way, It only makes sense that I make one.

So, do you love lists just as much as I do?

Fare thee well, Bellflower!

Today, I watched Kikyo from Inuyasha die. I've known her fate for quite some time now. But still... It was a little sad. Hmmmm... For all those people out there who were always bashing her and calling her the most demeaning names, let it rest now... In the end, she died so others might live. As far as I am concerned, she's one amazing character with layers that very few anime characters possess.

Rest in peace, Kikyo.

P.S. If you didn't already know, Kikyo in Japanese means Bellflower.

P.P.S. If you've not noticed already, I share my screen name with her and am darn proud of it! :D

Kalafina's Magia... Clearly it's "lumos" in Music Land!

It must be obvious by now that I have been completely smitten by Kalafina and for good reason as well! :) Those people actually make good music and hopefully, will maintain their standards and style of music even after getting dizzyingly famous (which, they most definitely will! :D). They've released Magia which is their newest singles album and I should say, if you haven't heard their songs, you should! And not understanding the language is never an issue in music. My Mom is almost as conversant in Japanese as is my next door pure bred Tamil Neighbour who's never been outside the state! And she found Magia amazing... so amazing that she's been humming the tune without the words.

Their previous styles of music incorporated a lot of layering as far as composition is concerned and the same is the case here. But this time around, percussions are in focus. The beats will leave you tapping your tabletop with random eraser tipped pencils! :D And the guitar bridge in the middle... I'm sure most of you people out there have heard better stuff probably. But it was good... aweinspiring and strangely, made me more enthusiastic and optimistic. In a "I-can-kick-ass-and-look-good-doing-it" way!

And Keiko.... Darling Keiko... She gives me hope, I tell you! I'd always been shunned in my School and College choire for having a voice that bordered on Baritone. But now, seeing a well accomplised artist perform songs on that basal pitch and not being forced to squeak just so she'll sound feminine... It was a very nice thing to observe! There's hope yet, for girls like me who cannot sound girly when we sing!

I want their CDs! I want! I want! But I can't seem to find a place which will ship to my place of residence and I also recall the cute but empty wallet I possess... *sigh* I'm always open to people gifting me stuff out of the kindness of their hearts.... So.... *cough* you know.... *cough*

Gimme! Gimme! XD
P.S. Did you know that archaic purses when washed actually look pretty? -__-;;;

P.P.S. If people don't understand the pun in the title, I should say I'm not responsible!

Yeah yeah yeah! Whoa Whoa Whoa! Yeah Yeah Yeah! Shinryakushaaaa!

For all those well meaning readers who're politely and silently on the verge of getting as far away from me as possible or possibly about to inflict untold miseries in the form of a baseball bat trajectory to my head, do hear me out!

It all started when I beheld the fourth ending theme of the Anime "Keroro Gunso". And without a doubt,
I'm smitten! The cute I've been humming this tune for a good two days now and had momentarily forgotten about in the excitement that is my new wallet! But not for long! This song is sure to get all of you either smacking your booty  under the guise of a dance step or smacking your forehead with exasperation.

My mother is on the verge of murdering me and burying my body for good measure, thanks to me going "SHINRYAKUSHA" on her every two minutes complete with the shaking hips! Ah.... I make the world such an eventful place!

Here's my current favorite from the Anime Keroro Gunso. (Yep! I'm watching a lot of Anime these days! I'm in heaven, I tell you! :D)

P.S. I find the frog wearing the Elvis costume with an afro to boot just plain awesome! Keroro Gunso rocks your socks off or what?! Wooooot!

P.P.S. According to the lastest polls, girls world over are actually voting for Sakata Gintoki from Gintama in the "who's the best Anime Bridegroom?" section! Well well well.... Of all the men out there, I didn't expect Gintoki to be on that list!! And they call me weird!

Hmmmmmm.....Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..... Hmmmmmmmm-I got a wallet, guys!!

Is it just me, or have I lost my ability to express through words?! It's been ages since I've spoken with any of my friends and to make it worse, I don't seem to be able to take the first step! And to take things down a notch, they don't seem to particularly care! Whoa, that hits a nerve! Ah well.... nothing can be done when people aren't exactly ecstatic about being with you. But it would be great if everybody wasn't so busy or weren't irritated the moment I opened my mouth... eheheheheh... *awkward silence* erm... Hmmmm... Nice weather we're having ne! Nice and bright!

Speaking of bright, I've finally managed to change my wallet! How does that correlate, you ask? Well... it just does! :D Out goes the bulky, party goer type clutch thingy that doesn't fit any of my pockets and in comes a real wallet that I can carry in my pockets and not worry about pricking my hind quarters! :D

Now if only I could fill it with money and not the usual arthropodic family who fly away everytime I open it to stare into the vast expanse of emptiness inside! :(
Sigh.... It's such a depressing thing being poor! Okay... maybe not that poor but still... ah well! Let's just get on with the thing here! :)

For those curious to see what it looks like and for the thieving thieves who want to avoid having an empty catch, feast on! :D

There she is! Ze beauty! :D

Kalafina.... Music from the soul.

There are a few times in one's life when one is moved beyond words by music. I've been blessed with one such moment recently!

If anyone in India has access to Animax (Yep! I'm preening here! :P), they'll know of a series that goes by the name of Black Butler. It's also known in the lands of it's origin as Kuroshitsuji (黒執事). The ending theme of that Anime is a song by Kalafina, "Lacrimosa". And I should say... I am impressed. And you know, one internet search led to another and after listening to a few more of their songs, I've finally become a fan!

The group was formed by the very famous and enormously talented Yuki Kajiura. For those who're not sure who she is, she was the composer of many famous Anime and Games. Think Tsubasa Chronicles, .hack//SIGN, Madlax, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and many more!

The members in the group are Kubota Keiko, Otaki Wakana and Hikaru Masai. Wakana holds the highest note while Kubota manages the lower notes and all three together, the ensemble is quite astounding! Their genre is closest to baroque Music. It's evident the singers put their hearts into the songs with lyrics that are unique to their genre. And for those who don't understand Japanese, they'll also be able to enjoy the music thanks to the wonderful composition from Yuki Kajiura.

I'd suggest you give their songs a try. You will not regret it! :)
